Security Expert, Business Leader & Community Leader
Andrew’s journey to becoming the owner of Key Breeze Naples is anything but ordinary. Before taking the entrepreneurial leap, Andrew served seven years as a City of Houston Police Officer, patrolling one of the city’s toughest neighborhoods. As a community policing advocate, he built connections with the people he served, working to deter crime and improve public safety. At the same time, he held a second full-time role as the Director of Security for an elite private K-12 school in Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood—one of the wealthiest areas in Texas. With a $1 million annual security budget, he managed a team of 30+ armed police officers and private security guards, ensuring student safety while overseeing access control systems, cameras, and physical security infrastructure. His security expertise became so well-respected that he was called upon to improve school safety plans and reduce violence at campuses across Texas.
When the school underwent a $20 million expansion, Andrew was tasked with designing the physical security and traffic flow, ensuring the campus was secure, efficient, and prepared for future threats. Throughout his career, he has also provided protective services for high-profile individuals, including a former U.S. Secretary of State, a Vice Presidential Candidate, and Fortune 500 CEOs.
Andrew’s boots-on-the-ground experience with crime—both in high-crime areas and affluent communities—gives him a unique, well-rounded perspective on security. He stays ahead of emerging crime trends, deterrence strategies, and prevention tactics, integrating this knowledge into the solutions he provides for clients at Key Breeze Locksmith Naples.
